Q: QuestionWhen I try to copy or print a page all I get is a few black marks. My ink levels are all full and I am connected to wireless intetnet. Get a message saying actual size is off.
Asked by Janster.
- A:Answer Does it print normally via USB and/or Ethernet? You can eliminate a lot of possibilities by printing from a normal computer with the driver installed that came with the printer. If it prints normally via USB or Ethernet, then you either have a driver/protocol issue with your wireless device or a problem with the wireless set-up. I purposely do not use wireless printing directly through the printer itself. People can connect to it wirelessly through the normal wireless router protocols (wireless to wired Ethernet via router). I had a similar issue when trying to print from my Linux (Ubuntu) computer via standard Ethernet. A few odd black characters. After installing the driver via Ubuntu protocols, the printer works fine. My guess is you have a driver or wireless protocol issue--not a printer problem.
