Yes and yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have two Epson XP-630 Expression 'all in ones'. We purchased them Specifically because we were Led to Believe That when One of the 5 ink carts. runs out that you can continue printing with Black or a combo of composite black using the combined color carts. Let's be perfectly Clear here! When ANY of the 5 carts gets low or "Empty" it Will NOT Print until you Must purchase the Official Epson Label Ink carts. that it Demands. Oh Yeah! you better buy ALL the colors and Black as well, because if you don't, you will get a warning that the Other carts are now mysteriously Also empty (need replacement). It's a good product Only if you Buy Epson ink carts. And Remember to buy the Whole Set, not just the ones you Believe you need. Epson Sells INK ! They 'Give' you the printer so they can sell you the expensive ink. Follow these Rules and you will get what you paid for, a good all in one at a bargain price.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine wouldn't allow me to print anything when it ran out of the magenta color.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. I am on a mac. I have run out of the magenta color and its not allowing me to print. I am selecting black and white box from my printer dialog, but printer says its out of ink and I can not for the life of me figure out how to over ride it. So frustrating.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Using the options menu you select gray scale and finish printing before you run to the store for the individual cartrige(s) that are low. there are 4 total ink tanks!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, if it runs out of one color, it wont print anything until you replace the empty cartridge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will not allow you to print unless you replace the low ink cartridge. Its a waste of money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, if any one of the cartridges is empty, you have to replace it to print a page. Even if you’re printing black and white, and you ran out of a color cartridge, you still wouldn’t be able to print a document.
