“Does this printer take the place of the discontinued Epson Artisan 1430 printer? I am looking at Epson Expression Photo HD XP-15000 Wireless printer.”

• yes it is my understanding that this replaced the 1430 and the main difference is that it is proprietary with the ink. Thats why the refurb 1430s are so high in cost.

• I don't have a clue. I bought this and I am happy with it. I would think you should ask Best Buy or Epson about this.
