“Does anyone know if this has similar capabilities as a Epson Artisan 1430? A friend recommended me to use a 1430 for screen printing applications.”

• I haven't owned the 1430 but I can tell you this, I purchased this printer for my daughter and she's an art major, this is the printer suggested by her professor and it has been a fantastic investment. We save money on print cost and she loves the quality of the pictures. Hope this helps.

• The Epson Artisan 1430 was the prior printer to this one. They don't make it anymore. I own this one but liked the Artisan better. Artisan was easier to operate.
