• I have a MacBook so I did not use the CD, suggest you call the Epson technical support number, they are very helpful.

• Hello Bear22. Yes, once the printer driver software is installed for the XP-6100, you can remove the CD from the drive as it is not required to use the printer. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
