“does this printer have the same Epson Scan program as the XP-830 that allows you to edit and direct the scan to specific files. And does it have a duplexer in it, I have been burned before by tricky wording”

Hi, The Expression XP-7100 includes a newer version Epson Scan 2. It includes the options from Epson Scan, but the interface is streamlined and more intuitive to use. The XP-7100 does include a duplexer. You can scan both sides of a sheet using the auto document feeder and print on both sides using the built-in duplexer. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
