“In one of the reviews, someone mentioned it isn't easy sharing the scanned photos with others. The whole reason I'm looking for a photo scanner is to digitize and share with all members of the family. Are there easy ways to share the scanned photos?”

I don’t know what the complaint would be about. It scans to a file you designate and you can attach and email like any other scanner.
