So you plug it in (wired) then you have to connect with USB cord that it comes with to communicate with device and computer. I can understand your frustration because I too was a bit concerned at first. It wound up working out just fine for me - not sure if it would be same for you! Did a nice job! (this is how I did mine) *not exactly 100% sure if it has wireless capabilities though
