The question is rightly put. Sometimes, Epson's FF software simply duplicates the scanned image creating double files! It has nothing to do with the setup friends! For example, I set FF to provide me 3 scanned images: the original, the FF corrected and the back of each scanned photo (all at 300 dpi). Mostly I get 3 files (as requested), but at times, for whatever reason, what FF shows me is actually six (6) files, not three (3)!! However, I noticed that in the sub-folder which FF creates (per my setting), only 3 images were actually placed. Not sure what is going on and why FF does that ON OCCASIONS only !
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you look closely - it does one exact and then it auto-finishes one version. I like that. You pick which one you like best and delete the other one. I tend to take the one that is a bit more polished.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is a setting in the software. If you have it set to do any kind of correction to the image you can choose for it to save the corrected image as well as the original. That is the only reason I can think why it would have 2 of every image.
