No it will not distruc you image it has really good adjustments with keyston adjust left right up or down with no problem. The farthest you mount it the bigger screen you will have with same picture quality
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When using a Home Cinema projector, you do NOT want to use keystone to compensate for projector position. And since this projector doesn't have lens shift, you will want to drop it from the ceiling some to accommodate your space. I design Home Theaters for a living. What we typically use is a Chief RPAU mount for the projector, a CMA101 to attach to the ceiling, and then a pipe in between the two. The location of your screen will determine how long the pipe needs to be. You can buy adjustable ones or fixed ones. Based on information you provided you will need around a 2' long pipe. CMS024 would be the chief part number for that.
