“With the lens being off set on this projector how does it need to be mounted? Is the lens supposed to be in the middle of the screen, thus making the projector hang a little off center of the screen?”

We built a shelf for our 3700 and it's a little offset from center. We were able to move the image using the controls to center it onto our screen. The projector has controls on top of the projector which all you to move the image left and right and up and down for quite a ways. Also, if you put it on a shelf, you can use the legs to offset it. But we looked into a number of projectors and we chose the 3700 because of how it allows you to move the image to fit the screen.
