A:AnswerHello BigDub. The Home Cinema 3800 uses 4K PRO-UHD Projection Technology. Depending on your input device, the projector can support a maximum 4K resolution of 4096 x 2160. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerUnfortunately certified refurbished doesn't mean much. It was defective as the projected image would go out for 5 seconds randomly about every 30 minutes. Best Buy store wasn't interested in taking it back because it was explained to me that refurbished is an online purchase not an inventory item at the store. They wanted to charge me a 15% restocking fee but after explaining that it was defective they finally let me exchange it for a new Epson 3200 (the lower model). I have always been a fan of Best Buy because they stand behind their products but this was the first time that I experienced difficulty. I am disappointed because they are the ones who claim it is certified. I will not purchase another refurbished product from Best Buy. You can make your own decision for the same. As a note, while working the image is beautiful and recommend this if not defective.
A:AnswerHello Ralph. Yes, the only parts considered user-replaceable on the Home Cinema 3800 are the projector lamp and air filter. The part number for the replacement projector lamp is V13H010L85. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
