The best buy warranty "covers the bulb" but really it does not... Best buy will just send you a cheap generic bulb that may be out of spec (Not as much brightness, Produces more heat and fries the projector's electronics, won't last 5000 hrs, etc) and if it kills the projector, then Epson's warranty is invalid because it requires in-spec bulbs. Mfr warranty is 2yrs full parts and labor, they will overnight you a swap projector or you can send yours in for repair. If you use a Citi card you get another 2yrs from your credit card for free.
