http://www.projectorcentral.com/Epson-PowerLite_Home_Cinema_5030UB-projection-calculator-pro.htm This website was incredibly helpful when planning out my theater room. I have the projector just shy of the minimum distance and it shows up great on my 100" screen. I believe I have mine right around 12 ft
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is the best place to calculate the needs: http://www.epson.com/alf_upload/landing/distance-calculator The 5030 is VERy flexible in regards to this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using a 100" screen and the projector is between 10 - 13 feet minimum. I am not sure how far back you can go, but I would guess at least 20 feet. I also had to make the picture smaller to fit the screen size, but not by much. The 100" screen is actually bigger than I expected, but fits my space perfectly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is not a single distance but a window determined by the projector throw ratio. I have mine installed 15 feet away from my 100 inch screen and works great. I do not have the ratio of the proyector with me but I recall that the window was big, and therefore offers great flexibility on how far/near can be installed.
