QuestionHi. I am just trying to also use this to scan a multi page document to a PDF. That's it. On a USB stick which is attached to the back of the device. I don't want to necessary put this crap in the cloud because it is TAX DOCUMENTATION. HELP.

- Answer Hello theresa. From the RR-600W scan menu, under the "basic settings" tab, there should be an option for file format where you can select "PDF - Multi Page." Once selected, you should be able to scan your originals into a single PDF file on your drive. - Answer Hi DPB, Yes, you can connect a portable USB device to the RR-600W and save scanned files without a computer. The USB device can be a maximum size of 2 TB (formatted in FAT, FAT32, or exFAT). QuestionI have this scanner and apparently the only way to get my files named automatically is with smart scan, but it doesn't provide the best options... pdf doesn't let you change it at all, and jpeg won't let you drop the prefix or customize the date format.

- Answer Attn: Mark from the Epson Team - that is a completely different setting, that always defaults to today's date and doesn't affect the format when you use the receipt manager, which actually captures the data I want - place, date, amount. Your answer is invalid. Please read the question.
