• A:Answer Yes it will work i have a Optoma - UHD50 4K DLP Projector with High Dynamic Range and it works perfectly, this mount comes with 4 extenders but my projector only has 3 connectors so i had to remove one but once put on its supper sturdy.

Q: QuestionI have high ceiling....very high. Would like to have a 3 foot extension. Is it available? Also, the 3 inch extension- is it just threaded pipe? If so, maybe use a threaded aluminum pipe?

• A:Answer Yes, the 3 inch pipe is just a threaded pipe. I believe there are longer extensions and recommend you discuss the mounting with a professional. There really is a lot more to this than I ever thought.....you'll be glad you hired an AV guy.

• A:Answer Can't help with the first part. However this is a great mount that seems to be relatively universal. I would not mount it to a drop ceiling. It has some weight to it and they send you with large lag bolts to mount directly into a stud. I have seen mounts that mount into a wall with a swing arm. I would go that direction. It would not hold in a drop ceiling tile. Hope this was some help.
