Yes. You can use this with an apple laptop that runs one of the following operating systems: macOS 10.12.x macOS 10.13.x macOS 10.14.x You can save to whatever location you want. The user manual, available on the Epson website, says that you can scan photos as long as you use the included carrier sheet.
