“es580w. I am trying to scan envelopes and it keeps saying "Multiple Originals are fed" which they are not. Being envelopes - they are 2 pieces of paper thick so..... Did i get the wrong machine? Can this "warning" be turned off?”

Hello CajB. Since it is a thicker envelope, the ES-580W is likely detecting a double feed. To scan originals that are incorrectly detected as double feeds, select Settings > Scanner Settings > DFDS Function on the LCD screen and set it to On to disable the Detect Double Feed setting for the next scan. You can also set the Detect Double Feed setting to Off on the Main Settings tab in the Epson Scan 2 window.
