Do 3 test prints - from the printer, print the network settings. This is sent from the printer and is black ink. It should be easy to read. If it has problems, the problems are printer related. The 2nd test print is from Windows. Go to Control Panel, Devices & Printers, And select properties of the printer. Then select Print Test Page. If this doesn't work, but the printer test did, then the problem is with your Windows drivers setup. Easiest to just reinstall the printer again, and try the test again. The 3rd test print is from your application like MS Word. Just print a basic single page with text. If this print is bad, but the other two are good, then the problem is with your printer settings in MS word. If none of that solves your problem, call Epson for help. Check that you are not using draft mode for printing (uses less ink, appears lighter). To make sure go into Printing Preferences Quality and increase the setting (ie. standard to high). Also, do a print head test and if in doubt at all, clean your print heads twice. Other things that may affect it, but likely not light printing, include: - Check that your ink wells have lots of ink and the right color is in the right ink well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
