• You need to as a minimum print at least one or two pages each week, to keep the ink from drying in the print head. If the printer sits idle for awhile the ink dries in the printer head, clogging it up.

• You should always buy the Best Buy insurance with a Ink jet printer. The jets can clog up and replacing the carts will not solve the problem.
