QuestionIt looks like the XL cartridges won't work in the 3720 based on your description of the cartridge but not based on the printer description Will the xl work or not? I don't want to buy only to get it and find it won't fit in printer

- Answer As far as I know they only have black XL cartridges and I just put one in my printer. The color slots are narrower

- Answer No it will not, mine ran out of magenta last night and after stopping the print and resetting the printer itself we could not get it to start even in black and white. My wife prints a lot for school but we've only had this printer for 2 weeks. I will be taking it back today, my cheap Canon printer lasted longer than this one did.

QuestionI have an Epson 3620 workforce which is practically brand new because I can count on one hand the number of times I used it for printing, however, it no longer works. I am very disappointed in this product.

- Answer You need to as a minimum print at least one or two pages each week, to keep the ink from drying in the print head. If the printer sits idle for awhile the ink dries in the printer head, clogging it up.

QuestionI signed up for Easy Replenish, installed all the software, ran the setup, verified everything is registered properly with Epson - and now, a few months later, my printer is out of ink and there's no sign of a replacement. What was the point of all this?

- Answer i never bother with those gimmicks. HOWEVER. make sure you replace ink BEFORE it stops printing that color or you will dry the heads out and clog them up really bad to the point where you may have to replace the printer. i am going through this right now. i purchased similar unit for parents and it is beyond belief the trouble i am having to restore the print heads. may have to replace the unit.

- Answer I believe you can print from a flash drive. For the second scenario, if you meant, can it scan and save directly to a USB drive yes it can. Just plug it in the USB access port located at the front of the printer, and select function you want it to perform.

- Answer Sure. Go to preferences in the print procedure. There's a line to select color or BW/grayscale.

QuestionWill it take small 3x5 photo paper?

- Answer I printed on 4 x 6 photo paper with no problems. Inside the paper cassette are markings and pictures showing how to load different sizes of paper and envelopes. When you slide the guides in the cassette snug against the paper the printer knows how big the paper is and automatically adjusts to accommodate it. The smallest size marked is 3 1/2 x 5. Really easy!

- Answer We used to have trouble with jamming, crooked labels, etc. Here is the solution. Put only one sheet of labels in the paper tray at a time. Nothing else. This works every time. It's a bit slow if you have a lot of labels to print, but it does work.
