• The usb port is located in the front of the printer and yes you can directly print from the flash drive.

• Hi SFlindaA, You can plug a flash drive into the port on the front of the WF-4820 and print PDF, JPEG and TIFF files. The WF-4820 also allows you to scan to a flash drive. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
