• 2 drawers and yes the lower one can hold the larger paper

• Hello. The WF-7840 includes two cassette trays for loading paper. Both trays can accept 11" x 17" paper, but if you need to load premium/thick paper or 13" x 19" sheets, then we recommend using the rear paper feed. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
