Q: QuestionDoes the scanning do automatic double sided?

• A:Answer Bad Epson. Very misleading answer, there are a number of ways you can get a two-sided scan. What consumers want is a single pass two-sided scanning feature. This printer doesn't do single pass two-sided scanning, It drags the paper in and spits it out THREE TIMES and then moves onto the next page. Why scan once when you can do it three times. So if your scanning a 4 page double sided document then this thing will drag the paper in and out a total of 20 times to complete.

Q: QuestionInk??!! After a successful setup and test page print, the printer said I'm outta ink. Really??!! A yield of just one Page??!! I have to buy more before I print page 2?! Really??!!

• A:Answer I don't have the same issue, that's weird. I was able to print more than a couple of pages of color (some being all in color) and black and white documents. Epson recommended shaking the ink cartridges a little before installing them. Have you tried that?

Q: QuestionI am looking for an Epson model that has two trays and both trays to be adjustable to paper sizes. I want to print from one tray 4" by 6" card stock and from the other tray, I want to print 5.5" by 8.5" regular 20lb stock. Must be full color and inkjet.

• A:Answer Hi TheoR, The WorkForce WF-7840 has two trays which can be loaded with the paper you want to print. You can load 50 sheets of 68Lbs maximum weight 4" x 6" card stock into cassette 1. You will have to create a 4" x 6" thick paper custom paper size in the printer driver. This is a one-time task. Up to 250 sheets of 20lb.half letter paper (5.5" x 8.5") can be loaded into cassette 2.
