• I haven't seen an app but usually to fax you have to be hard lined. There is a Epson help page that I found by googling, you may ask them. Epson.com there is a lot out there for help.

• I have an iPhone 6S and when I have tried (TRIED) to print from my phone, once I 'found' the printer, I had to make several attempts to get the printer to recognize the information it was receiving from my phone. I did not need an app. The easiest thing to print was a letter. Coupons were harder, pictures were even more difficult. My guess is that it depends on what you're trying to print.
