How easy is the setup null

I didn't have much difficulty. Just follow the step by step instructions and you should do fine.

The Epson 2830 is way beyond difficult to set up - IT IS TERRIBLE!!! At the onset, I was unable to get the scanner to work, even with the help of a very knowledgeable friend, so I called Epson in Long Beach. A woman (who was very hard to understand) took me through a complicated frustrating process to set up scanning, but now I'm unable to send scanned documents to my files. I've been out of town the past week, but I'll call Epson again this week in order to hopefully get this resolved. If the process is as complicated as the scan setup I will be returning it. This printer is nowhere near as intuitive and easy to operate as my aging Lexmark Pro 205 has been. I doubt if I'll ever buy another Epson.

It's almost like plug and play, pretty easy to set up especially if you want to hard wire it.
