“Is the EM-1040 BPA-FREE? Is any part of the aluminum construction within the EM-1040 in direct contact of the product to be consumed? ie: heating element, water spouts, etc.?”

The plastic used is BPA free There are stainless steel tubes in the thermal block so water NEVER touches any aluminum

No part of the aluminum construction within the EM-1040 is in direct contact with the product produced. The Thermoblock heater is die-cast aluminum, however, the water passes through an integrated stainless steel tube. Thus the water never is in direct contact with aluminum.
