Yes indeed, the sockets can be run independently. In fact the app requires that you uniquely name each socket.

Each plug on a single unit works independently and can be controlled using unique timer for each outlet. Hence, you could set up 4 different timers for the 2-pack, one associated with each plug.

Yes each side can be run & programed separately. Even when using a voice assistant you can name each side something different to turn on one and not the other ect

Yes each socket works independent. You can have one on all day and the other whenever you need it.
