• A:Answer Does not come with an A/C power cord. It does come with an A/C charger so it can operate as though simply plugged in.

Q: QuestionWhat batteries does it use and is it rechargeable?

• A:Answer In the specifications it is stated that it requires 4AA batteries. I believe that through the A/C adapter that is included it is possible to charge rechargeable batteries in the radio. But I am not sure. I will buy new rechargeable batteries and see if the A/C adapter recharges them. If not I have a device that recharges AA rechargeable batteries and I will buy eight rechargeable batteries, 4 in the radio and 4 recharging and ready to replace the ones in the radio when needed.
