Why: Battery drain: The eufyCam 3 runs on battery (with solar support). Continuous live video drains power far faster than the solar panel can recharge, especially on cloudy days. You risk the camera running out of power and going offline. Signal interference: Keeping a constant video stream means the camera is always transmitting, which can affect its ability to record events properly or respond to motion prompts. For true 24/7 viewing (like a TV monitor), you would need a wired (PoE) camera system or have the camera hardwired to a power source. As a battery/solar device, it's optimized for on‑demand checks, not permanent live streaming.
