• A:Answer Lots of variables come into play with your question. My house is 2400 sqf. On the front of the house, near each corner, I have 2 cameras pointing towards the street, which covers the front fairly well, I also have a doorbell camera. On one side I have a camera mounted on a shed which views the entire side and part of the back of the house. Then another attached to a the gutter (gutter mounts from Amazon) viewing down the other side and one across the back of the house. I also have cameras mounted to other structures assisting in coverage. In my opinion, with similar requirements, you may be fine with 4, but more may be needed. I initially purchased the 2 camera package then added on as I got used to the systems strengths and weaknesses. The eufy 3 system is very easy to work with.

• A:Answer Depends on a few factors. Number of walls, thickness of walls, interference etc. Best way to find out. Have the camera in your hand and move away from the home base. Keep your app open on the phone. I can tell you than one of my cameras that is on the far side of my house has to go trough 3 walls and the distance is about 80 ft from the home base. Camera is mounted on the outside. Never lost the signal, but the signal strength is in the low range.

If temperatures drop below -4°F, the battery's chemistry activity decreases, resulting in reduced battery levels and shorter battery life. However, the eufyCam remains operational in such conditions. As temperatures warm up and return within the operational range, the battery life will normalize. Please note that in extreme cold, such as -30°F, you may experience reduced functionality, especially in terms of battery performance. Additionally, motion detection sensitivity might be affected due to the passive infrared (PIR) sensor mechanism in cold weather. You can increase the motion detection sensitivity in winter to improve performance.

Q: QuestionSo, where I live, it's not always sunny, it can get really cloudy sometimes. If I keep a USBC connected while they're outside but not plugged in only when they need it. Does that affects the weather-proof feature? if so, what can I do?
