    Swann for the win

    Swann Security cameras are the best! They have a great app and you don’t have to have a subscription for the data. Just pop in a micro sd card and you’re good to go. These cameras work great on a table or mounted on the wall (simple two screw installation). They are so small and sleek that you don’t even notice them!

    Pairs with little hassle but overall great!

    Pros: video quality is clear and can be adjusted in the settings on the App. It comes with a mounting guide and screws so you can mount easily. Cons: This camera is not wireless of course and has to be connected to power at all times in order to work. It also doesnt come with a micro sd card. The initial setup at first was giving me trouble but I deleted it and re added it and now it works.

  • Two different descriptions for SD card recording on best buy website one in features says it support 128GB while the box image description says upto 256GB so which one is correct? And is it continuous recording?

    Hello Nik. This system supports up to a 128GB SD card. It does not support continuous recording because storage is limited. For 24/7 continuous recording, only a wired system with an internal HDD can provide that capability. Mary - Swann Team

  • Can the camera differentiate between people and pets?

    By default, the camera sends alerts whenever it detects general motion. However, to enable person and pet detection, you'll need to subscribe to Swann’s Secure+ Plan. This advanced feature allows the camera to identify and alert you specifically when it sees a person or pet, reducing false notifications from other types of motion. Mary - Swann Team.

  • Do the cameras rotate?

    Hi Nick. No, they do not rotate. The camera has a fixed 90° wide-angle lens but does not support pan or tilt movement. If you’re looking for a camera with rotation capabilities, you can check out our Swann EVO Pan & Tilt Wi-Fi Camera (SWIFI-SE2KPT) instead, it supports full pan and tilt control via the app.

    Hi JT. There is no limit to the number of Swann cameras and doorbells that can be connected to a Swann Security app account.
