    Swann for the win

    Swann Security cameras are the best! They have a great app and you don’t have to have a subscription for the data. Just pop in a micro sd card and you’re good to go. These cameras work great on a table or mounted on the wall (simple two screw installation). They are so small and sleek that you don’t even notice them!

    Pairs with little hassle but overall great!

    Pros: video quality is clear and can be adjusted in the settings on the App. It comes with a mounting guide and screws so you can mount easily. Cons: This camera is not wireless of course and has to be connected to power at all times in order to work. It also doesnt come with a micro sd card. The initial setup at first was giving me trouble but I deleted it and re added it and now it works.

    Nice security cameras.

    [Employee of bestbuy] Great cameras for the price. All the perks but just know that either you need a plan with them or get memory cards to have the ability to save files. Can be used to check in on family members and talk to them with a press of a button. I like them to have for peace of mind and to check up on things.

    Reliable Indoor Security with Great Clarity

    I’ve been very happy with this Swann EVO 2K camera so far. The 2K HD video quality is excellent—images are sharp, and the night vision is clear enough to see exactly what’s happening even in total darkness.

    Nice Quality Picture For The Price

    Once you download the app set up for these cameras was very simple. They can be put just about anywhere as long as there is an outlet near by. The cameras have a low, medium, and high camera quality. The high quality setting makes things very clear. It just takes a little longer to download when you open the app. One downside to the cameras is that the SD card isn’t included.

  • Two different descriptions for SD card recording on best buy website one in features says it support 128GB while the box image description says upto 256GB so which one is correct? And is it continuous recording?

    Hello Nik. This system supports up to a 128GB SD card. It does not support continuous recording because storage is limited. For 24/7 continuous recording, only a wired system with an internal HDD can provide that capability. Mary - Swann Team

  • Can the camera differentiate between people and pets?

    By default, the camera sends alerts whenever it detects general motion. However, to enable person and pet detection, you'll need to subscribe to Swann’s Secure+ Plan. This advanced feature allows the camera to identify and alert you specifically when it sees a person or pet, reducing false notifications from other types of motion. Mary - Swann Team.

  • Do the cameras rotate?

    Hi Nick. No, they do not rotate. The camera has a fixed 90° wide-angle lens but does not support pan or tilt movement. If you’re looking for a camera with rotation capabilities, you can check out our Swann EVO Pan & Tilt Wi-Fi Camera (SWIFI-SE2KPT) instead, it supports full pan and tilt control via the app.

  • How many cameras can connect together on one account

    Hi JT. There is no limit to the number of Swann cameras and doorbells that can be connected to a Swann Security app account. As long as your internet has a strong enough signal and the upload speed to support all the devices, you can add as many as you like and view them all in the same app. -SD, Swann Team
