You connect with the camera through the Eufy security app and you can access the camera anywhere by Wi-Fi or data through your cell phone. The camera does not have a specific IP address unless you assign it on your network. You do not have to do that on set up. It automatically searches for an available IP address on your network. What specific changes to your network are you referring to. It depends.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera will connect to any network that is 2.4gz no matter if it is internal or external, so long as you have the correct credentials to connect to the network. Now if you change something about the network then the camera will no longer connect. But this is true of any wireless network device, they must have the correct info to connect to a network. Also, when you say change you don't specify what you mean so I can only take it to mean that you might change the password or something. As for the specific IP that is not required it uses whichever one your router, or in my case I have a mesh network, gives it... it has no assigned IP address that it must be given. The biggest issue I have with this is remembering not to turn it off. This is because it uses power from the floodlight and at night, I am used to turning off my lights...and in so doing I end up turning the Cam 2 pro off. Then when I hear something outside and I look at the Eufy app and it says it is offline... Then I remember I turned it off and I had to get up and go back downstairs and turn it back on. The good thing I can say about this is it comes back on quickly in less than a minute.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mined on DHCP. Changing anything should not affect your camera.
