Yes, the camera does record audio. It's actually very clear and fairly sensitive reception. However, it only records when there is motion detected, not constantly, so would need to be triggered by someone or something moving in its field of view to record any audio.

Once the camera is triggered and starts to record, it also records the sound outside. We suspect to spy on his tenants because we live in extremely safe town, the apartment building is super secure and not mention you have to walk up 7 flights of stairs to get to my floor. Wasn’t sure if he could ease drop. Now, I know, no conversation in the hallway.
