A:Answer The mic is pretty good, but it's not going to give you super powers. I have a Nest as well, and I'd say the mic is roughly as good at that one's, which is pretty good. Imagine you have AirPods in but not on. What you'll hear out of these approximates what you'd hear with something like that in your ears (so, most things, but a bit muted), or is maybe better, but it's not like being there yourself.
