• It’s wifi. I installed mine a couple of weeks ago, and have been impressed. I had to move my existing router to ensure that the security floodlight cam got a strong signal. And I had used the cam to replace an existing floodlight, which made the installation quite easy. With a strong signal, setup was easy. And I noticed that it reinitiated itself after a power outage without any involvement by me. So far, so good.

• Yes, hard wired for power. We run ours off of Wifi. Hope this helps!
