It is continuously recording in that it has a 3s buffer to give you streaming before an event, but these clips are saves rather than like a DVR where you can roll back and watch a time period. It does allow you to get on the camera at any time from your phone. You can also get on from a laptop, but that requires the flash plug-in. Considering flash is going away, this seems like an awful decision by Eufy. By the way, I just checked this to make sure I was remembering the flash requirement correctly so I logged in via Windows. I can see event clips and play them, but going "live" on the camera is failing. I am able to get on "live" from my Android phone.
