The only difference with the Wi-Fi built-in vs bridge is that there is one less outlet to take up in the house and it aslo lessens the setup process.
This might not be a deal breaker in either case as it will work well nonetheless.

I have tested its smarts and it only Auto Lock when the door is closed. it will not activate when the door is ajar but be sure to Calibrate the Lock after you have engaged this feature.
