You can connect it to the existing bell. It’s just two wires. It requires that the existing wires provide 16-24 volts. If not, you need to use the jumper cables that come in the box, use them on the bell wiring in your home electrical box. If you have an Eufy HomeBase it will also play doorbell sound on there. You can of course turn it off. If all fails, Eufy sells a dedicated wireless doorbell speaker for it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this camera wired to the doorbell. It records if and when it detects motion. Mostly IF it catches motion. Mine catches maybe half the motion and people that approach it. My doorbell chime is not the newer digital style, it’s the mechanical. I can confirm the doorbell does with with the mechanical style, don’t know about the digital type.
