“How far in from the edge of the mounting bracket is the screw hole? I have 1.25 trim but do not mind it sticking out past edge.”

• two mounting screws are vertically oriented (3.5" apart). the base is about 1.5" wide and it flares out to just over 2" for the doorbell itself.
