• Horizontal. It also include a shoe that you can mount between the doorbell and wall and angle it to the side a bit too. I used it to angle it towards the door a little more. It's enough to see who's coming up the walkway before they come up the steps to my front door.

• Looks horizontal to me. But the lense has some “fish eye” like view.
