“I have an hp omen 870-224 and I was wondering if this card would be ok to swap out for my gta 1060”

• I did this exact upgrade for my own pc. The only problem you might have is the power supply since it’s a pre built system. A gtx 1060 only required a 6 pin connector and the RTX cards require a 8 pin connector and draw more watts

• I also replaced my 1060 with the EVGA RTX2060. Works great and I can definitely see the performance boost. I would recommend the swap to anyone looking for an affordable upgrade.
