“I have an older Dell XPS 8300 and its video card just gave out -- an ATI Radeon HD 5670 1GB GDDR5. Will this NVIDIA card fit in its place? (Or is there another card on the market that will?) Thanks!”

Physically this will fit in it and it is going to be a nice upgrade from the previous card. Couple of things to consider. This card needs a PCIex16 slot. It needs a power supply of 300w or more.
