Fit in my XPS 8700 btw. I suggest a longer sata cable too, 18". The mother board sata plug is below the card and it's a big card to get a 12" cable around.

Your Radeon though is a single slot card, while this video card is a dual slot, so you'll need to see if you could fit a dual slot video card into it. Both cards use a dual six pin for power This card is backwards compatible with the PCI 2.0 standards The only issue I can see (beyond if it will physically fit) is if your power supply can handle the extra power loads.

Minimum power supply is 400W. Minimum RAM is 4 GB but 6 GB or higher is recommended. OS must be Windows 10, 8 or 7 (32 or 64 bit). The XPS 8500 case might be a little too small for this card since the length is 10.5 inches. EVGA makes a much shorter version of the GTX 1060 which may fit in the XPS 8500. It only has one fan and is 6.8 inches long but still requires a dual width PCI-E slot and a 6-pin PCI-E power connector. EVGA part number for the standard speed card is 06G-P4-6161-KR, Part number for the superclocked (SC) version is 06G-P4-6163-KR.
