Q: QuestionI have dual monitors. Both with DVI cables. I'll need to get a different cable since there is only one DVI port. Should I get a Display Port or HDMI cable? Is it worth it to go ahead and get two DP or two HDMI, or does it not make a difference? Thanks

• A:Answer So, I just bought my 1060, and I also have dual monitors. Mine are both HDMI (They might have dvi cables, I just don't use dvi often). Depending on the hertz (hz) of your monitor, I would highly recommend Display Port. It is faster (not by a ton but a decent amount) than HDMI, and if you have a monitor with over a 120 hz refresh rate, then your hdmi cable will limit that. DIsplay Port will allow you to get the full 144 hz of your monitor (if you have one), since HDMI cables normally max out at 120 hz. Even if you don't have a 144 hz monitor, a DisplayPort cable is the way to go, since if you end up upgrading your monitor in the future you have the cable, and they aren't overly expensive, I picked mine up for 12 dollars at Best Buy after pice matching Target I think (Best Buy price matches everywhere!!). The back of the 1060 also has 3 DisplayPort ports, and only 1 HDMI and 1 DVI, so the Display port gives you more options to add on more items. I hope this helped!

• A:Answer I just got mine today and its the SSC version which is near the top of the pecking order prior to the most recent revisions (ex. FTW2+ SSC2 etc) You can match up the clock speeds on the site with the ones on EVGA to confirm it. So to answer your question, its not the superclocked one, but the one higher than that overall. The original superclocked was one of the lowest models available.

• A:Answer There shouldn’t be any problems with overheating if there is you may need to manually do a fan speed increase you can download something like asus gpu tweaker or MSi afterburner for instance and play with the fan speeds this will over ride the stock fan speeds I have two MSi gtx 1080s and I play games all the time on it and I can keep them at 80% if I wanted but to keep from throttling cause they are overclocked I keep them at 100%

• A:Answer All videocards out in the last like 7 years support this feature. That is a definite yes. The resolution and refresh rates supported will depend much more on the displays that you have and the interfaces that you use to connect them than the videocard. Just connect everything up and set it to what you need.

• A:Answer It fits in my XPS 8700 if your running the same case. I ordered an 18" sata cable also to make sure the cable to the hard drive would be long enough. The sata cable ports are under the card and it's a large card to get around. You'll love it, I reviewed this card with Dell in mind so you might look for that here.
