• No, it doesn't air out of the back, make sure to have good airflow inside the case.

• There are vent holes but the heatsink fins are going the opposite way, so no it won't exhaust much hot air out the back of the case. It's not specifically designed to do so. The beginning 1/3 of the card has some blow through however to get hot air to the top of the case.

• I picked mine up on Friday you will not be disappointed. This model has fans that face towards the bottom of your case, so the air is forced downwards and not out through the GPU slots at the back as blower cards would do.
