Q: QuestionFor these newer 3000 series cards, is it recommended to use two separate PCI-E power cables to plug into each 8-pin port on the card, or is using just one power cable that splits into 2 8-pin plugs safe?

• A:Answer Depending on the card. For a 3070 and below one power cable should in theory be enough. As the cards do not draw more than 225w the pice lane can do 75w and the cable can do 288w. https://www.gpuminingresources.com/p/psu-cables.html It is recommended that you use two for anything higher though.
