Specs state 500W Minimum power supply. 500-650 or so should be okay.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Corsair 500W bronze 80+ PSU, with a 4690k overclocked to 4.6 GHz, two 200 cm and two 140 cm case fans, an EVO 212 with one fan, a one TB HDD, an SSD, and this Evga SC GTX 1070. The PSU runs this system with no problems at all, but if I had to do it again, I'd probably go with a 750W system for probable future expansion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe the minimum is somewhere around a 500W. But I would highly recommend anything 750W or better. Your power supply fuels your entire system. This card uses 1 8pin connector. It's not very power hungry but you don't want to slouch on power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I ran a evga 600w psu when I had 1 1070. I upgraded to 2 1070's so I went with a 750w psu
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The minimum requirements is a 500w power supply. Just keep in mind that not all PSU's are the same... some of the "500 watt" PSU's aren't truly 500 watts. Also some PSU's are not consistent with the power the output to your computer hardware. In the short term this can prevent you from getting all of the power out of your processor, GPS, ect. In the long term this can also damage all of your hardware components. I suggest getting a power supply that's at least rated at "80 bronze" and closer to 600w+ depending on what PSU you get. In saying that it's not necessary to get 1000w PSU. In purchasing this card I decided to get the 750w PSU from corsair. This definitely meets the requirement's you need, and if you ever decided to buy a second card for sli (really only beneficial for vr) it will still meet the requirements.
