I 100% say it's way overkill, but it depends on what else is in your system. What other cards you've added, like audio cards, maybe what kind of hard drive or solid state you have. There is an allotment for each component, so consider what else you have into what PSU is best for your system. Your new GPU can max out at 220w, which is way more than your previous card, but it all depends on your entire system in total.
