A:Answerits a sata i have 3 hard drives hooked up inside my computer and their are still i think 4 more sata hook ups not being used this does not come with the small end cables that is needed only the larger end one not for sure what the small ones are call but if you add another hard drive you will need that cable unless you have an extra one. my hard drives are all sata so not for sure if this helps you or not i know the picture shows all the hook up it comes with i don't really know much about computer just enough to keep mine going.
